About the meeting
The 2nd Medical Rhinology Meeting brings together consultants from immunology, haematology, dermatology, respiratory medicine, rheumatology and ENT surgery for a single day of practical, case-based teaching.
Organised by consultant ENT surgeons Ms Sevina Tzortzis and Mr Aman Khanna, the meeting looks at how our colleagues in other specialties see the patient with nasal and sinus disease, and how we can work together to treat them better.
What the meeting will cover
Immunology and immunotherapy
Immunological presentations in rhinology, and a panel on immunotherapy pathways.
Haematology in rhinology
Bleeding and haematological conditions that present to the rhinology clinic.
Dermatology and laser
Skin conditions affecting the nose, and the role of laser in rhinology.
Facial pain
A practical approach to facial pain in rhinology.
Respiratory disease and biologics
The unified airway, and a panel on biologics in sinonasal disease.
Rheumatology
Rheumatic conditions with nasal and sinus manifestations.
Service development
Setting up medical rhinology services, digital health and PROMs, and building a Midlands network.
